Constitutional Critic-Watchdog Ezra Klein on the EPA

Look out Al Gore: Ezra Klien is on deck, a rising star that just might be gunning for your figurehead spot as chief of the environmental movement. Ezra is tuning in to the buzz over Obama’s use of the EPA to implement Cap and Trade. He has written an EPA promotion piece celebrating the back breaking, unchecked, industry destroying fiats which force the power producers to chose industries to choose extinction or relocation.

Over the next 18 months, the Environmental Protection Agency will finalize a flurry of new rules to curb pollution from coal-fired power plants. Mercury, smog, ozone, greenhouse gases, water intake, coal ash—it’s all getting regulated. And, not surprisingly, some lawmakers are grumbling.

Ezra Klien missed the opportunity to remind our lawmakers that Article 1 Section 1: does not allow the EPA to act as an extension of Congress.

All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States

Lawmakers ought to be screaming, not grumbling about this usurpation of their power and citizens ought to be out protesting in the streets.

What’s wrong here?  Obama is only keeping  his promise to have electricity rates skyrocketing, and putting the burden on consumers, business, and taxpayers. Remember, he said it, loud and clear before he was elected. Obama is playing along with the hoax of “man caused global warming” that has been proved a lie based on data manipulation, evidence tampering, intimidation and flat out corruption.

This is not a careless mistake, it is Obama’s economic plan to kill jobs and destroy the energy sector while the country is suffering chronic unemployment worse than the Great Depression. The poor and working poor are being subsidized, but look what is happening to the middle class? Anyone who cares to pay attention and cares about the American people realizes that less energy means a lower standard of living and  fewer jobs because it makes things more  expensive to build in America. Older plants need to be closed as they wear out but  environmental extremists won’t let power companies build new power generation stations or update power grids.

As you watch your electric bill creep up, remember that this is what happens when  Congress and The President  ignore the limits placed on them by our Constitution.  It may be news to you Ezra, but vast majorities of the American public love this country. We do not want the “fundamental transformation” you and others are ramming down our throats. The “Fundamental Transformation” needs to begin by alerting Washington that it is the Constitutional way or the highway. This will only get worse until we put a stop to it by supporting the American Revolution By Ballot.

Revive the Constitution or embrace our socialist future.
