Waste and Fraud

Myth: Government programs are more effective and more efficient than private non-profit programs.

Truth: Centralized government gives fewer people more control and this is a proven recipe for waste, fraud, and abuse. America’s founding fathers recognized this and designed a government characterized by Federalism, which granted only a few, limited powers to the central government, leaving most power reserved to the states and the people (see the ninth and tenth amendments)

All politicians are the target of lobbying efforts which offer to promote the interests of a few, sometimes at  a huge expense to the taxpayer. Billions of dollars of government aid is being taken fraudulently every year, with little done to stop it. Over ten percent of New York’s Medicaid is consumed by pure fraud and up to another 30 percent by spending that borderlines on criminal, according to some sources. With massive fraud and abuse of funds going on in Medicare, Medicaid, housing subsidies, student aid, farm subsidies, and other programs it is clear that the Federal Government is wasting much of their taxpayers’ money.
